some things I remembered tonight

• the unplanned hour out for McD's fries and ice-cream one Saturday evening many months back
• August 2006 and just how much times have changed
• wanting to learn the tango -- some dreams don't materialise, ever
• dy/dx, du/dx, dv/dx
• someone else's pain and how I was, for the most part, oblivious to it for the longest time because she tried so hard to seem OK
